Roger Alve’s company recently completed a deck renovation on our home in Chastain Park. The original deck was only 10 years old, but the deck boards, joists and pergola had deteriorated and needed replacement.

The joists that rotted were replaced and the pressure treated decking was replaced with composite material. Although the basic design was retained, the renovation turned out better than the original.

Additionally, an inoperative hot tub was removed and replaced with a fire pit and seating area. The pergola was repaired and enhanced to hold up better to the elements. Roger was great to work with.

His crew started within a couple days of contact execution. Project was completed on time, with only minor change orders. I interviewed 4 firms for the renovation. 2 were national franchisees and 2 were local contractors.

Roger’s bid was essentially the same as the other local contractor, but went with him due to the strong references he was able to provide. Roger’s company does much more than decks, he is a full service residential contractor.

I would not hesitate to recommend him.
