Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions Milton homeowners ask us most, before they call.
Everything You Need to Know Before You Call
If your question isn't here, just ask — we'd rather answer it on the phone than have you guess.
Getting Started
What do I need to know before I call?
Nothing at all. Whether you have detailed plans or just a few ideas, we'll help you take it from there.
What happens after I get in touch?
We talk through the project on the phone, set a time to come see the space, walk you through what to expect, and then send a written quote. None of that costs anything.
Do you take on small projects, or only whole homes?
Both. Some months it's a full first-floor remodel, some months it's a single bathroom. We'll tell you honestly on the first call if a project isn't the right fit for us.
How quickly will I hear back?
Send the form during business hours and you'll hear back the same day. Call (404) 948-3594 during business hours and we'll pick up.
Are you insured?
Yes. Roger That Renovation is fully insured.
Quotes and Cost
Is the consultation free?
Yes. The in-home walkthrough, the conversation about scope, and the written quote are all free and come with no obligation.
Is the quote the price I'll pay?
The quote covers the work we agree on. If you change your mind mid-project, or we open a wall and find something nobody could have known about, we talk to you first and price the change before doing it — no surprises on the final bill.
Do you help with materials and finishes?
We do. We'll go through the options with you, tell you where spending more is worth it and where it isn't, and price the quote around what you choose.
Do you offer financing?
Not directly. We're happy to work alongside a home-improvement loan or HELOC you arrange, and we'll structure the payment schedule to suit it.
During the Project
Can we live in the house during the remodel?
Almost everyone does. We seal off the work area, keep a clear path through the house, and tidy up at the end of every day. For a kitchen we set up a temporary cooking corner; for a single bathroom we plan around when you'll be without it.
Who will be in my home?
You'll know who to expect before work starts, and you'll have one point of contact throughout. Where a licensed electrician or plumber is required, they're part of the plan — not a surprise.
What about permits and inspections?
Anything structural, plumbing or electrical in Fulton, Gwinnett or Cherokee County typically needs a permit. Where one is required, it's arranged before work starts and the inspections are built into the schedule.
How long will it take?
It depends on the room. As a guide: a bathroom two to five weeks, a kitchen four to eight, a basement four to eight, an addition two to five months. Each service page has more detail, and you'll get a real schedule before work starts.
Areas and After the Project
What areas do you serve?
Milton, Alpharetta, Roswell, Johns Creek, Sandy Springs, Suwanee, Duluth, Woodstock, Cumming and the surrounding communities — the full list is on the areas we serve page.
What if something isn't right afterward?
Call us. We'd rather hear about a problem than have you live with it, and we'll come back and make it right.
Can I see examples of your work?
The portfolio is the best place to start, and we're happy to put you in touch with recent clients in your area.
